liactuallee graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities in 2016 and have earned a postgraduate diploma in Aesthetics, Criticism, and Theory from Jnanapravaha, Mumbai. They have participated in artist residencies, such as Space 118 Mumbai, Space Studio Baroda and Hampi Art Labs. Exhibited at Emami Art Kolkata, Art Incept in New Delhi, and Gallery XXL in Mumbai. li has also left their mark in their community by painting public murals in Bandra, Mumbai. Their inaugural solo exhibition,”Soft Invasions, Stitchpunk Visions,” took place at Method Bandra in June 2023. li was honored with the Artdemic “Textile & Fiber Art” Grant 2024, and has collaborated with the fashion house Bodice. They participated in the second edition of SA Ladakh, Asia’s highest land art festival, which culminated in an exhibition at the Serendipity Arts Festival 2024 in Goa and the Indian Museum in Kolkata.

actuallee had been selected as an artist-in-residence for India Art Fair 2025, where they unveiled their outdoor installation. 

li continues to work and live in Mumbai.
