Artist Statement
My work explores the idea of comparing elevations without diminishing their counterparts. This comes from observing how order and disorder coexist in nature, creating a dynamic balance. In these artworks, I represent altitudes through depth—both as physical forms and as metaphors.
Elevation here is not about superiority but its connection to the depth that supports it. By moving away from hierarchy, I highlight the unity between highs and lows, showing their mutual dependence in shaping life’s rhythms. Through these visual forms, I aim to reflect the contrasts I’ve encountered—contrasts that inspire balance and show the interconnectedness between everything that exists within the microcosm and macrocosm.
