ARTIST STATEMENT:

My work is an exploration of the seemingly mundane yet profoundly precious aspects of life. It is a celebration of gratitude—of the nourishment found in daily meals, the warmth of human connection, and the intricate mechanisms that sustain my body and mind.

Working in series allows me to delve deeply into each of these simple yet significant facets of existence. Keeping the series ongoing gives them room to evolve, enabling each new piece to rekindle the intention that sparked the series’ creation.

The choice of medium often emerges organically, guided by the subject itself. I incorporate self-imagery and trace the contours of my body, making my art deeply personal. This process is often cathartic—a way to ground myself and honor the connection between my inner world and the external.

As I journey to new places, uncover the layers of my mind, and learn to cherish my body a little more each day, my series continue to branch and grow, organically reflecting my experiences and evolution.
